Before turning to feature films, Eduardo spent more than three decades building stories in different forms.
He created one of Brazil’s earliest online dating platforms, developed award-winning advertising campaigns, directed audiovisual productions, worked in radio and digital media, and built a career driven by curiosity, reinvention, and a fascination with human behavior. His work earned recognition from organizations including iBest, Apple’s Creativity Awards, and Cannes Lions.
His path to cinema was anything but direct. The experiences that shaped his work came through successes, failures, unexpected detours, and a lifelong habit of paying attention to people. Along the way, he learned that the most meaningful stories are often hidden in ordinary moments.
Today, he approaches each film as more than a screenplay. Every project begins with extensive research and expands into a fully realized cinematic world, where characters, locations, atmosphere, music, and visual language are developed with the same care as the story itself.
His current work spans original feature films inspired by both deeply personal experiences and extraordinary real lives, from an unexpected encounter in Chile’s Atacama Desert to a biographical drama about Carl Sagan, one of the most singular and visionary scientists of the twentieth century.
